I haven't been wagering for some time but used to be solid. Starting slow and trying to roll back up to speed for this year's football season. I'll begin with a bankroll of 25K and see what we can do. Not expecting fireworks and won't offer much explanation to start. Modified flat betting to begin, let's see.

About what I expected. Could have been 4-1 could have been 1-4. One clear side winner with the Mets, had somewhat of a chance on all the other plays. It's baseball.

Some betting indicators in the Texas game that I do not like. Going to back up that bet with some A's run line and pull for a 4-3 Texas win.

Really close to a good day. Clear right side on the Tigers and Yankees. Close loss with the O's. Had a chance in 'em all, which is all you can ask for in bases.

Detroit +135 Like the way the Tigers are swinging the bats & they have been competitive in this series. This game is closer to a toss-up than the line indicates and I made the Tigers just +112. Line value and quick turnaround to the early start both favor the home dog.

Colorado +1.5 runline +170 I'm going to get all 9 at bats, a run, +170, and get to face a pitcher fresh of the IL that will most definitely be on a pitch count. Hard to beat the Dodgers when Betts & Freeman are playing so well at the top of the lineup but -400 is ridiculous and last time I checked every member of the 27 Yankees has passed away.

Made the correct bet at the correct price in the Colorado game and found a winner. The mighty Dodgers were lucky to escape with a win.

St. Louis -120 Don't normally like to do this but the should be a pretty emotional spot for the Cardinals and with their season over they should give possibly one of their best efforts down the stretch. Wainwright has been awful but gets a matchup today where he's not at a pitching disadvantage. Cards swinging good bats and the Royals slumping after winning 7 in a row a bit back. Cards won't have too many more chances to get Wainwright to 200 career wins and this represents a good opportunity. He knows it, the veterans on the Cards know it. For this price willing to back him.

Short card today but have a play

Record 23-12-1 = 65.7% +12.36 units

San Diego -112 Hill has been better than his numbers would indicate and this series sets up nicely for the Padres. Padres, amazingly, still not out of the playoff hunt and can catch one of their playoff competitors within this series. Dbacks gave up a lot of runs and depleted their bullpen innings in a competitive series at Colorado and I like the idea of catching Arizona's declining 2nd half bats off going from the leagues best hitters park to one of it's worst. Big bullpen advantage for the Padres and I like the setup.
